Creative prodigy Daniel Garcia has released, actually Audi has released them for him, a set of high-quality pictures of the Audi A9 concept, a futuristic car that may or may not make it’s way into future Audi sport lines. Rumour has it this model is going to be the 2016 A7 Sportback, but that’s a long time from now and how knows what Audi will decide after all…
As you can see for yourself in the photo gallery the car is in the futuristic style concept designers already got us used to this year. At least from the side view photo, the A9 Concept is a bit reminescent of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept, the green high-tech concept that German competitor of Audi has released at Frankfurt 2009.

The first noticable aspect of this daring concept from Audi are the electroluminescent wheels and maching LED lights, in blueish tones but that can probably change to green or orange. Flamboyant to say the least, but this is after all an attempt at showing the world, in present time, what cars will be like in the future. Sure, near future, but at the pace trends shift and evolve in nowadays 2015-2016 is S.F. Other notable features of the Audi A9 concept are self-repairing panels and a push-button that changes the exterior color, somehow.

Audi also said this car will feature downloadable applications for the car computer, just like they plan for the A8. An evolution of the touchscreen introduced on the latest A8 would provide the user interface. Navigation, chassis, and audio software upgrades are mentioned as other possible uses of instant reconfigurability, but with all that’s run on code nowadays we imagine almost every aspect of the car could be touched by the development.
